As we wrap up the 2012 flying season and we reflect on all the accomplishments of Rochester Honor Flight, one thing stands out – our overall count of WWII veterans from the Rochester and Western New York area transported to Washington DC to see their memorial has reached a total of 1,225 veterans. This has been done by an army of dedicated volunteer’s and very supportive public whose donations of time and money has made this possible.
